COMMUNAL GRIEF CIRCLE
WHEN — Thurs, Nov 14th @ 4pm PST/7pm EST
WHERE — Zoom.
Communal grieving is essential—it challenges individualism, releases pressurized pain, stitches our community together, restores our voice and power, and prepares us for action and resistance.
To sit together in shared grief is a gift, a radical act of communal care and activism.
In this space we began with communal grounding, connecting with our bodies and the earth. We shared our grief, witnessed each other, and encouraged one another’s strengths. We closed with an embodied practice of locating where grief is living in our bodies and tended to it.
